Memorial Day Parade slated for Monday

In honor of Memorial Day, a parade will kick off from the American Legion and head to Fairview Cemetery on Monday.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. and will travel up Harding Way East to Washington Street then to Payne Avenue and on to Fairview Avenue and will end at the cemetery. A presentation in honor of veterans will be held at that time with guest speaker Josh Foit, who is on active duty in the military and is a member of the of the League of Riders Motorcycle Club in Ohio.

A meal will be served at the VFW, 229 S. Market St.

Parade line-up begins at 9 a.m. at the American Legion, 118 S. Market St.
