Summer food program being offered in Galion

Galion City Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program.

The Galion City Schools, in partnership with the USDA, is sponsoring the Galion City Summer Feeding Program. Free Lunch will be provided to children ages one to 18-years-old Monday through Friday from June 13 to Aug. 5. No adult meals will be served. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Meals will be provided, on a first come, first serve basis, at the sites and times as follows:

Libby Lane Apartments, 425 Libby Lane

11 to 11:30 a.m.

East Park Cabin, 120 East Walnut St.

11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Galion Arms Apartments, 585 Galion Arms Court

12:30 to 1 p.m.

Heise Park, Heise Park Lane

11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

No Meals will be served on July 4.
