The Galion-Crestline Area Chamber of Commerce presented awards for its 2015 recipients at Galion Community Awards Breakfast at the Polk Township building, 7680 state Route 309, in Galion on May 10. Lisa Dye-Hoffman, left, of Flower Cart Florist received the Retail Business of the Year award; Kristie Stief and Erik Flick, which represented Flick Packaging Co. received the Industry of the Year award; Doug Schilling, who represented Schilling Graphics that also received the same award; Jerry Morasko represented Avita Health Systems, which received the Service Business of the Year award; and Richard Ekin of Elliott Machine Works received he President’s Award.

Members of the Galion-Crestline Area Chamber of Commerce approved new board members Craig Clinger of Galion Building and Loan; Terry Gribble, director of the Galion YMCA and Jerry Morasko of Avita Health Systems, at the Galion Community Awards Breakfast on May 10. Not pictured was Penny Fox of Fox Heating in Galion.

The Galion Area Betterment Commission awarded former Galion First Ward councilmember Sarah Capretta, left, with Citizen of the Year for her work on last year’s Pickle Run; and members of the Galion Ministerial Association: Rick Maddox of Galion Alliance Church, Rich Genzman of Peace Lutheran Church; Anne Pairan of Trinity Lutheran Church; and Ashwin Welch with St. Paul’s Lutheran, at the Galion Community Awards Breakfast on May 10.
