July 7

7:06am Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 200 block of Crossroads Blvd.

7:59am Karl Frizzell was arrested in the 200 block of Hopley Av. on a Crawford County warrant. He was transported to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

8:57am A parking ticket was issued in the area of Warren and Ridge Av.

9:19am A report of a bad check was taken.

9:56am A S. Walnut St. resident reported vandalism to their vehicle.

10:58am A domestic dispute was investigated in the 1000 block of Tiffin St. A female juvenile was transported to Juvenile Court.

11:50am Zachary Smith was arrested in the 200 block of Crossroads Blvd. on Marion County warrants. He was transferred to Marion County Deputies.

12:03pm A shoplifting was reported in Geyer’s Beverage Center. The report is under investigation.

12:42pm Assistance was provided to subjects reporting identity theft.

1:03pm A report of a person being bitten by a dog was taken in the 700 block of W. Perry St.

2:44pm A report of a minor hit-skip accident was taken in the 500 block of S. East St.

3:21pm A 15 year old male was arrested on E. Mansfield St. for a Juvenile Court warrant. He was transported to Juvenile Court.

3:52pm Officers served a criminal summons at Woodbine Apts.

3:57pm An overtime parking complaint was investigated in the 900 block of E. Warren St.

4:12pm An overtime parking complaint was investigated in the 100 block of W. Galen St.

4:24pm A false alarm in the 1200 block of N. Sandusky was investigated.

5:29pm A report of a theft from Stop and Shop is under investigation.

6:40pm An assault was reported in the 400 block of N. Walnut St.

7:55pm A traffic warning was given in the area of Wheeler Ave. and Whetstone St. and Thomas B. Warren, 38, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. He was issued with a date to appear in court and released.

8:47pm A report of juveniles setting off fireworks in the 400 block of W. Mansfield St. was investigated.

9:06pm A traffic warning was given in the E. Mansfield St. area.

9:42pm A traffic warning was given in the area of E. Mansfield St.

10:05pm Officer responded to a domestic dispute in the 700 block of W. Perry St.

10:43pm Officers assisted an elderly man in the 1600 block of Marion Rd. get to his residence.

11:20pm William Rigney, 49, was arrested for possessing an open container of alcohol in public. He was issued with a minor misdemeanor citation and left in the care of sober friends.

11:28pm A driver reported striking a concrete goose that had been placed in the roadway in the area of Plymouth St. and High St.

11:53pm Officers conducted a welfare check in the 900 block of Earl St.

11:57pm A false alarm in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Ave. was investigated.

July 8

1:30am Savanna Davidson, 19, was served with a criminal summons for assault. She was released with a pending court appearance.

2:09am A report of people yelling in the 600 block of E. Warren St. was investigated. It was found to be a verbal dispute and the parties were separated.

2:35am A report of 2 suspicious males walking in the area of Martha Ave. was investigated.

6:42am Officer responded to a report of a female calling for her dog that was running loose in the 300 block of Wallace Ave.
