BUCYRUS, Ohio — Celebrate the area’s farm heritage! The Crawford Park District invites everyone to come and watch the parade of tractors on Saturday, Sept. 11. The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. in Bucyrus at the corner of Mansfield Street and Spring Street. The tractors will continue down Mansfield Street to Nevada Road and then turn into Unger Farm Park at 1303 Nevada Road. After the parade, stay for Unger Farm Heritage day.

This is a great event for kids and adults. Tractors will be on display from the Crawford County Antique Tractor Association. Visitors will have the opportunity to view displays of farm life implements in the barn, watch demonstrations of mule plowing and woodcarving and enjoy listening to the Hobo Band.

At the petting zoo meet llamas, horses, alpacas, miniature horses, young cows and pigs.

Kids will enjoy working the corn sheller, romping on straw bales and making crafts.

Horse drawn wagon tours will be available as well as outhouse tours. Warren Uxley’s prairie tour will be held at noon.

Lunch will be available from The Grass Run Chuck Wagon. Meals cost $7.00 and consist of your choice of a pulled pork sandwich or boneless ribs, cowboy beans, campfire potatoes, fruit cobbler and a drink.
