Galion students’ art on display at Brush & Palette Art Gallery


GALION — Spring is just around the corner, which means more daylight and more time to get to the Brush and Palette Art Gallery in Galion. It’s located at the rear of 114 Harding Way East in the uptowne Galion area.

Art gallery hours starting next week are noon to 6 p.m. Today, the gallery is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On display through March 30 is artwork from students at Galion’s Primary and Elementary Schools.

There are appoximately 30 pieces on display at the gallery. There was an open house March 5,that included more than 60 visitors and some refreshments.

The art includes some self portraits, some abstract drawings, some paper mache masks and more.

The Brush & Palette Art Gallery has new displays regularly and also offers classes and more.
