The real work begins at county fair

July 13, 2014

By noontime on Sunday, the Crawford County Fairgrounds were full of youngsters of all ages preparing their livestock for the Junior Fair. Each of these dairy feeders had to endure a bath, brushing, and a weigh-in before the real work of earning championship ribbons for their 4-H club and/or FFA chapter owners began. In other barn areas, hogs, sheep and goats were undergoing similar check-in procedures.
