Tallentires celebrate 60 years

A 60-Year Milestone: Jerry Wayne Tallentire and Carol Theresa Stevens were married by Dr. Carveth

Mitchell at First Lutheran Church in Mansfield, Ohio on March 6, 1934.

Jerry’s parents were Russell Boyer Tallentire and Marietta Elizabeth Jackson, Carol’s

parents were Russell William Stevens and Eileen Rita Jack.

Carol and Jerry have four children, Danita Lynn (Holbrook), Timothy Lee, Pamela

Ann (Little) and Jerry Stephen. They also have 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren,

and 14 step-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Jerry was a foreman at General Motors Corporation for 34 years in the jig and

fixture department. Prior to that he received his tool and die certification from Westinghouse.

Carol was a clerk at Galion Hardware.

They enjoy the family, golfing, fishing, gardening, and Jerry can repair almost anything.

An open house is being held at the Church of the Nazarene on March 7th by their

children. It is a birthday / anniversary party (Jerry turns 80 on March 7).
