LIMA — A 42-year-old woman pleaded not guilty to 56 child sex charges Wednesday that could send her to prison for the rest of her life.

Tina Hill, of 643 W. Lane Ave., is charged with two counts of rape, complicity to rape, endangering children, tampering with evidence, 11 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, and 40 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance.

Hill is accusing of raping a child under the age of 13. The child endangering charge alleges she allowed the child to be used in photographs in a sexual way while the child was nude, said Terri Kohlrieser, an assistant Allen County prosecutor.

The tampering charge alleges she attempted to alter or destroy evidence, Kohlrieser said.

The pandering charges allege a crime of photographing or videoing a child engaged in a sexual act, and the illegal use charge accuses Hill of being in possession of sexually explicit images of a minor, Kohlrieser said.

The charges carry a maximum penalty of 439 years in prison if she were given the maximum penalty and the sentences were stacked on top of one another, Kohlrieser said.
