Photos and Story by Marcheta Gibson
I blame the Deep Freeze of 2014 on gravity. When the Polar Vortex slips off the North Pole, temperatures have no choice but to fall down. Way down. At least, that is my take on the situation that has caused most of the nation grief, but for me has been a photographer’s winter dream come true. Even during below zero temperatures and level two snow emergencies, I was able to be out and about with my camera by hitching rides with my husband in his snowplow truck.
Join me in my pictorial adventures, which include the privilege of seeing rare weather-related phenomena, observing how wildlife coped, and finding my fellow humans at work and play.
