Technology Tuesdays at Galion City Schools
We are excited to offer a “Technology Tuesday” series for our Galion City Schools residents. We are offering iPad classes, eMail, MicroSoft Word and Excel. Details on each class are below, as well as the link to sign up for the classes.
Our Food Service Supervisor, Jacki Corona, will also be in attendance to offer information on our Food Service Program, and how the new regulations impact our lunches. She will be providing light refreshments at the beginning of the class!
January 21st ~ Basics of an iPad ~ This class will concentrate on the very basics of an iPad. Learn the basic operation of the iPad. How to control the volume, orientation, take a picture and much more! Ever wonder what an “app” is? This class will teach you what an App is, how to open it, and how to add more. This class is geared towards someone that has little or no knowledge of an iPad. Class size is 24. iPads will be available during the class time. SIGN UP NOW
February 11th ~ Intermediate iPad ~ This class is for the iPad User that has some basic knowledge of the iPad. We will explore setting up your email account on the iPad, how to use Accessiblity Features, how to organize your Apps and how to set up your iCloud. Class size is 24. iPads will be available during the class time. SIGN UP NOW
March 11th ~ Setting up a Gmail Account ~ In this class you will learn how to set up a personal gmail account. This is a beginners class for someone that has never set up an email account before. Leave the class with your personal account set up and ready to use! Class size is 24. Computers will be available during the class time. SIGN UP NOW
April 8th ~ MicroSoft Word ~ This is a Beginners Class for MicroSoft Word. We will be covering the basics of Word. This class is designed for someone that has little or no experience in Word. Class size is 24. Computers will be availabe during class time. SIGN UP NOW
May 13th ~ MicroSoft Excel ~ This is a Beginners Class for MicroSoft Excel. We will be covering the basics of Excel. This class is designed for someone that has little or no experience in Excel. Class size is 24. Computers will be availabe during class time. SIGN UP NOW
All classes will be held in the High School, Lab 108, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
