Cider Alley Craft Fair a new attraction

Cider Alley in Galion’s Uptowne District was busy on Sept. 12. There were food vendors, artists and live music lining the alley, located beside The Cracked Pot.Local business owners Terry Turner and Kent Gimble organized the Cider Alley Craft Fair and held the first event in August. A few vendors showed up and had a great time. For the second event, more vendors turned out, including sweets from Bill’s Bakery, produce grown in the Galion area and work by local artists and crafters.Live acoustic music was performed by Ryan Francisco and Zeck Dobbins, both members of the band Local Groove. They performed a variety of cover songs from the 1950’s through today.
