8:30am A Prospect St resident reported the theft of money from her residence. The money was later returned to her.

8:46am A private property collision report was taken in the 600 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

9:56am A disturbance on W. Perry St. was investigated.

10:19am A false alarm was received from the 1400 block of Fairview Ave.

11:54am A report of a theft from a vehicle in the 700 block of S. East St. was investigated.

11:57am A Mansfield resident reported her vehicle stolen from the 700 block of E. Rensselaer St. around 10:00pm last evening. Officers are investigating.

12:12pm An overtime parking complaint was checked in the 400 block of E Lucas St.

1:35pm Officers investigated a report of possible drug activity. A person trespassing at a property in the 200 block of W. Mansfield St. had left behind a pill and it was found to be penicillin.

3:04pm Officers spoke to an inmate at the Crawford County Justice Center about a stolen vehicle.

3:12pm Officers assisted a male experiencing some emotional issues in the 500 block of S. Walnut St.

3:48pm A resident in the 800 block of W. Perry reported a package stolen.

3:56pm A resident in the 200 block of Penn Ave. reported a subject driving through her yard.

4:23pm A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of Prospect St. was a subject checking on a rental property.

5:11pm Officers served a criminal and income tax summons at the Crawford County Justice Center.

5:14pm Officers served a criminal summons in the 200 block of Songer Ave.

5:25pm A resident in the 1000 block of Victoria Ave. reported a possible scam.

5:35pm A report of a young juvenile riding a bicycle in the street in the area of Hopley Ave. and Prospect St. was investigated.

6:02pm Officers spoke to a citizen on station about a custody issue.

6:04pm Officers served a city income tax summons in the 300 block of W. Irving St.

6:32pm Jessica Hoffman, 28, was arrested in the 800 block of Clay St. on warrants out of Crawford and Richland Counties. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held.

6:43pm A report of a suspicious male in the 300 block of Lawn Ave. was investigated.

7:36pm A report of a disturbance in the 200 block of W. Mansfield St. was unfounded.

7:51pm A resident in the 900 block of Prospect St. reported receiving a suspicious phone call.

8:23pm A report of suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of Whetstone St. was investigated.

9:27pm Officers investigated a hang up 9-1-1 call at Bucyrus Plaza. It was a misdial.

9:38pm A traffic warning was given in the 100 block of W. Charles St.

10:05pm Traffic stop on N. Walnut St. and officers served 2 city income tax summonses.

10:15pm Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office at a stop on State Route 98.

10:23pm A report of an erratic diver in the 200 block of E. Mansfield St. was investigated.

11:29pm Message was delivered to a vehicle owner for a vehicle that needed to be moved off private property.

11:57pm A report of 2 suspicious subjects walking in the alleyway in the 400 block of W. Charles St. was checked.

Dec. 12

12:14am A resident in the 200 block of Lawn St. turned drug paraphernalia he had found over to officers.

1:01am A traffic citation was issued in the 300 block of S. Poplar St. for no operator license.

1:38am A traffic warning was given in the area of Hopley Ave. and Edgewood Dr.

1:47am Officers assisted a State trooper in the area of County Rd. 330.

1:50am Officers on patrol investigated a disturbance on Washington Square.

2:01am Officers on patrol made a welfare check on a man in the city lot off of N. Poplar St. He was found to be ok.

4:41am Officers assisted Life Support at Indian Creek Apts.

4:46am Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 100 block of Iron St.

8:29am A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of Emerson St. was checked.

9:45am Officers responded to a report of unwelcome patrons in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave. Jeremy W. Smith, 22, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was released pending a court appearance.

10:19am A Woodlawn Ave. resident reported his dirt bike stolen. Officers are investigating.

11:58am A report of a vehicle blocking an alley was unfounded.

1:55pm Officers mediated a domestic problem between a parent and their daughter in the 600 block of Beverly Dr.

2:23pm An officer checked on a subject sitting beside the road on Sherman St. The subject was ok.

2:52pm A possible civil protection order violation is under investigation.

3:44pm A report of a male illegally dumping trash in the 1300 block of E. Mansfield St. was investigated.

3:49pm A report of juveniles fighting in the 600 block of Beverly Dr. was investigated and the juveniles had left the area with their parents.

4:54pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 600 block of Ridge Ave.

5:58pm A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of N. Lane St. and Norton Way was investigated.

6:22pm Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint on Harper Ave. in the 600 block of E. Rensselaer St. Shane Rice, 28, was arrested for domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await a court appearance. Clifton Rice, 54, was arrested for falsification. He was issued with a criminal summons and released with a pending court appearance. Phylicia Austen, 25, was arrested for falsification. She was issued with a criminal summons and released with a pending court appearance.

6:38pm Officers responded to a one vehicle crash in the area of Woodlawn Ave. and Highland Ave. The driver was transported to Bucyrus Hospital for treatment. The crash into the utility pole caused a power outage in the area.

7:32pm Officers assisted the staff at Bucyrus Community Hospital with a disorderly patient.

7:48pm Officers responded to an alarm in the 1400 block of Whetstone St.

8:14pm A report of a suspicious person in the 700 block of Beverly Dr. was investigated.

9:24pm Officers responded to an alarm in the 1100 block of Isaac Beal road.

9:56pm A report of subjects taking a cart from Kroger was investigated.

10:14pm Officers responded to an alarm in the 500 block of Jones St.

10:19pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle on Washington Square.

10:26pm Officers spoke to a female on station about a faulty ATM transaction.

10:37pm A report of a group of suspicious pedestrians in the area of Failor St. was investigated.

11:08pm A report of loud music in the Jump St. area was unfounded.

11:28pm A traffic warning was given in the 100 block of E. Charles St.

11:35pm A report of an unwanted person in the 600 block of E. Rensselaer St. was investigated and a summons was served to one of the parties involved.

12:38am A report of people yelling in the 500 block of S. Spring St. was investigated and the parties involved left the area.

1:22am A breaking and entering in the 1600 block of Marion Rd. is under investigation.

1:27am A false alarm in the 1000 block of Martha Ave. was investigated.

1:48am Officers responded to an alarm in the 500 block of Jones St.

1:56am A resident in the 200 block of Lawn Ave. reported possible trespassing around his house. Nothing was found to be disturbed.

2:04am Officers conducted a welfare check in the 700 block of Rogers St.

2:41am Officers conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Hopley Ave.

2:46am Officers responded to an alarm in the 1600 block of Marion Rd.

8:07am A false alarm was received from the YMCA.

9:43am Officers checked on a report of a possible damaged light pole at Aumiller Park.

9:50am Property found in the area of Kaler and Gay Streets. was brought on station.

11:21am A report of a suspicious phone call in the 100 block of E. Charles St. was investigated.

11:48am Officers recovered drug paraphernalia from the 1500 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

11:55am Officers investigated a crash in the area of Mansfield St. and Stetzer Rd. One vehicle was towed and a citation was issued.

12:06pm Officers made a civil standby in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

7:27pm A parking issue in the 300 block of Osman St. was resolved with the involved truck moving.

12:26am A report of a suspicious person in the 1600 block of Marion Rd. was investigated.

12:57am Officers investigated an open line 9-1-1 call in the 200 block of Penn Ave. and it was a misdial.

5:07am A report of a barking dog in the 300 block of Wallace Ave. was unfounded.

6:16am Officers responded to an alarm in the 200 block of W. Charles St.

Dec. 15

9:55am Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the area of Sandusky and Lucas Sts.

11:44am Officers assisted Life Support in the area of Washington Square. Jeff McClintock, 51, was later arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication from this incident. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held.

11:50am A W. Southern Ave. resident reported their vehicle broken into.

12:35pm A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Mansfield and Iron Sts.

1:24pm Officers made a civil standby in the 1500 block of Sommer Ave.

1:35pm A N. Sandusky Ave. resident reported his bicycle stolen from the 200 block of E. Mansfield St.

1:38pm An accident report was taken at the intersection of Mary and Sandusky.

2:01pm A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 100 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

3:03pm Officers assisted Children’s Services at the Bucyrus Secondary School.

3:23pm Officers spoke to a subject at the Police Department about a civil issue.

4:25pm A false alarm at Dauch Concrete was investigated.

4:48pm The owner of Stow Away Storage reported multiple units entered.

4:56pm Officers assisted with a civil standby in the 800 block of Hopley Avenue.

5:25pm A report of a suspicious person at Speedway was investigated. The female was lost and given a ride to a family member’s house.

7:36pm Officers attempted to check the welfare of a resident on Waterford Drive.

6:07pm A hit-skip accident in the area of Southern and Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

8:51pm Michael Lawhun, 28, was arrested on charges of

9:45pm Heather Howlett, 26, and Kristen Nickelson, 22, were both arrested on Crawford County warrants. They were each given a court date and released.

10:55pm Officers conducted a welfare check on Washington Square.

Dec. 16

12:27am Megan Dauchenbaugh, 21, was arrested on 2 warrants out of Crawford County. She was issued a date to appear in court and released.

12:43am A written traffic warning was issued in the 100 block of N. Poplar St.

4:14am Kevin L. Johnson, 22, Marion, was arrested for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued with a criminal summons for each and released with a pending court appearance.
