Drugs Con­fis­cated Dur­ing Arrest

On March 7, 2013, METRICH Enforce­ment Unit, which con­sisted of Galion Police Depart­ment Spe­cial Inves­ti­ga­tions Unit, the Craw­ford County Sheriff’s Office and Adult Parole/Probation exe­cuted a search war­rant at 1039 Smith Street, Galion, OH 44833. The search war­rant was in ref­er­ence to ille­gal drug activity.

Dur­ing the search, offi­cers con­fis­cated drug para­pher­na­lia, sus­pected mar­i­juana, pre­scrip­tion pills and a large amount of cash. Brian Watkins, age 42, of Galion, was arrested dur­ing the search war­rant. Watkins was trans­ported to the Craw­ford County Jail and is being held pend­ing charges. Two other indi­vid­u­als were arrested dur­ing the search war­rant. A male, age 39, was arrested on an unre­lated arrest war­rant and release. A female, age 22, was arrested for drug related charges and later released.
