Special election update

The fil­ing dead­line for write-in can­di­dates for the Spe­cial Elec­tion was Feb. 25. Only one per­son, Melissa Har­ris, filed. It was for the posi­tion of 2nd Ward on City Coun­cil, the only posi­tion that pre­vi­ously had no can­di­date running.

The bal­lot for the elec­tion, which takes place Tues­day, May 7, now stands as thus:
