Galion girls cruise in regular-season finale

CRESTLINE — The Lady Tigers routed host Crestline 67–35 in the regular-season varsity basketball finale here Tuesday night.
The Orange-and-Blue go into tournament play with an 8–13 record. The eight wins are the most by a team in the program since the 1990s.
Crestline enters tournament action with just two victories.
Galion led 18–7, 32–17 and 46–23 at the end of the first three quarters, respectively.
Bailey Ruhe led the Orange-and-Blue in scoring with 16 points. Peyton Beachy added 14.
Cierra Roberts was the top scorer for Crestline with 10 tallies.
The Lady Tigers hit the court again next Wednesday at Ontario for a sectional tournament contest against Lexington. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
