Food for Fines at Galion Public Library
Have you acquired library fines throughout the year? Never fear, the Galion Public Library encourages you to come into the library during the month of February to get rid of those fines!
The Galion Public Library is holding a Food for Fines drive from February 1 — February 28, 2013. We are accpeting undamaged, non-perishable, non-expired food products (canned or boxed goods) in lieu of cash for the payment of your fines. The program is simple! For every 1 food item you bring in, $1 in fines will be waived. All food items that we receive will be donated to the local food bank.
We encourage all patrons with any fines to come to the library, help out the community and take fines off your card at the same time. If you have any questions please call 419–468-3203. The Galion Public Library looks forward to seeing you!
