Alan Olm­stead

On Feb­ru­ary 20, 2013, the Galion Police Depart­ment Spe­cial Inves­ti­ga­tions Unit, with assis­tance from the Craw­ford County Sheriff’s Office exe­cuted a search war­rant at 550.5 South Mar­ket Street, Galion, OH 44833. The search war­rant was in ref­er­ence to ille­gal drug activity.

Dur­ing the search, offi­cers con­fis­cated drug para­pher­na­lia, syringes, sus­pected crack cocaine, and sus­pected heroin. Alan Olm­stead was arrested dur­ing the search war­rant. Olm­stead was trans­ported to the Craw­ford County Jail and are being held pend­ing charges.

“The Galion Police Depart­ment and Craw­ford County Sheriff’s Office con­tinue to work together to develop infor­ma­tion regard­ing ille­gal activ­ity and coor­di­nate inves­ti­ga­tions. We appre­ci­ate all infor­ma­tion we receive regard­ing ille­gal activ­ity from the com­mu­nity and ask that the reports con­tinue. We can­not do this alone!”
