Mount Union advances to semifinals

Mount Union won big Sat­ur­day in the NCAA Divi­sion III quar­ter­fi­nals, pound­ing Widener 72–17.

The top-ranked and unde­feated Pur­ple Raiders had more than 700 yards in total offense.

GHS grad­u­ate Jack Nicholls with 5 recep­tions for 72 yards.

His older brother, Alex, recorded 3 tack­les as a defen­sive back.

This is the 18th con­sec­u­tive sea­son the Pur­ple Raiders have advanced to the semifinals.
