Galion’s 9–2 season and outright North Central Conference championship resulted in four Tigers earning Division IV First Team All-Northwest District honors and a fifth Tiger being named Second Team.
Seniors David Nay, tailback; Mike Hollis, nose guard; and Nate Cass, linebacker; plus junior Dareian Watkins, wide receiver; are the First Team Tigers.
Brent Esposito, a senior offensive lineman, is the Second Team selection.
Nay rushed for nearly 1,500 yards and scored 140 points for the Orange-and-Blue this season.
Hollis set a school record with 17 quarterback sacks, shattering the previous standard of 14.
Cass won one of the leading tacklers in the North Central Conference.
Watkins — despite missing one entire game and all but four minutes of another, scored 100 points.
Esposito was part of an offensive line that was instrumental in the Orange-and-Blue averaging nearly 35 points a game.
