“It Came from the Library”: Teen Read Week Activ­i­ties at Galion Pub­lic Library Octo­ber 15–20
Dur­ing Teen Read Week 2012: “It Came from the Library”, Galion Pub­lic Library will be show­ing off what’s lurk­ing in the library!
All week long, teens in grades 7–12 can stop by the Teen Area for spe­cial dis­plays, book sug­ges­tions, con­tests and more! Plus, we’re hav­ing great pro­grams for teens this week:
All Week long — SURVEY SAYS! — Let your voice be heard about library ser­vices to teens. Fill out our sur­vey, and be entered in a draw­ing for prizes.

Mon­day, Octo­ber 15, 6:30–8:00 pm: Mon­ster Book Cafe: Get to know the lat­est books in the teen col­lec­tion through Book Speed Dat­ing, Banned Book Bingo, and video book trail­ers, while we cre­ate Mon­ster cupcakes.

Wednes­day, Octo­ber 17, 6:30–8:15 pm Hal­loween Make-up Work­shop: Learn make-up tech­niques for this year’s Hal­loween Cos­tume. Local the­ater stu­dents will teach hor­ror, glamor and fan­tasy make-up tricks that you can copy at home.

Sat­ur­day, Octo­ber 20, 7-10pm Zom­bie Prom! It doesn’t take a lot of BRAINS to know that this is going to be a night of creepy fun! Dress up in your best for­mal zom­bie attire and join us for a night of danc­ing, refresh­ments, crafts, zom­bie apoc­a­lypse sur­vival skills and more!
