Sharlene Mullins
Sharlene Mullins, 64 of Galion, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 at her home, after an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 17, 1948 in Galion. She was preceded in death on July 28, 2004 by her husband, Hatten Mullins, Sr. whom she married on May 16, 2001. She was previously married to the late Harold Atkins.
Sharlene was a S.T.N.A. at T.L.C. in Crestline, where she was a home health aide. She previously worked at Hi-Stat in Lexington for 10 years. She loved reading, watching soap operas and spending time with her family.
Sharlene is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Traci Atkins of Galion; one daughter, Angela Gayle Atkins of Madras, Ore.; her father and step-mother, Robert and Walda Estep of Mansfield; two step-sons Hatten (Donna) Mullins, Jr. of Ypsilanti, Mich. and Roy Clifford (Karen) Mullins of Nashville, Tenn.; one step-daughter Deborah (Dan) Rowland of Mt. Gilead; one brother, Raymond Rosen of Fla.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Gwendolyn (Stewart) Estep and one sister, Karen Johnson.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 18, 2012 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion. At the family’s request no funeral service will be held. Interment will be in Iberia Cemetery.
