Sharlene Mullins

Shar­lene Mullins, 64 of Galion, died Thurs­day, Sept. 13, 2012 at her home, after an extended illness.

She was born Aug. 17, 1948 in Galion. She was pre­ceded in death on July 28, 2004 by her hus­band, Hat­ten Mullins, Sr. whom she mar­ried on May 16, 2001. She was pre­vi­ously mar­ried to the late Harold Atkins.

Shar­lene was a S.T.N.A. at T.L.C. in Crest­line, where she was a home health aide. She pre­vi­ously worked at Hi-Stat in Lex­ing­ton for 10 years. She loved read­ing, watch­ing soap operas and spend­ing time with her family.

Shar­lene is sur­vived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Traci Atkins of Galion; one daugh­ter, Angela Gayle Atkins of Madras, Ore.; her father and step-mother, Robert and Walda Estep of Mans­field; two step-sons Hat­ten (Donna) Mullins, Jr. of Ypsi­lanti, Mich. and Roy Clif­ford (Karen) Mullins of Nashville, Tenn.; one step-daughter Deb­o­rah (Dan) Row­land of Mt. Gilead; one brother, Ray­mond Rosen of Fla.; nine grand­chil­dren and five great-grandchildren.

In addi­tion to her hus­band, she was pre­ceded in death by her mother, Gwen­dolyn (Stew­art) Estep and one sis­ter, Karen Johnson.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tues­day Sept. 18, 2012 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion. At the family’s request no funeral ser­vice will be held. Inter­ment will be in Iberia Cemetery.
