Search Warrant Served
On Thursday September 13, 2012 the METRICH Drug Task Force, with the assistance of ASORT, the Mansfield Police Department, Mansfield Fire Department, and the State Fire Marshals Office, served a search warrant at 100 Dale Avenue. Lt. Ken Coontz, METRICH Commander, advised the search warrant was related to an arson at 545 Gruber Avenue. He stated the fire was believed to have been started while Steve Isaac was cooking in an active meth lab. METRICH Detective Perry Wheeler stated METRICH has been engaged in a long term drug investigation involving Mr. Isaac.
Detectives arrested Steve Isaac, Ashlee Hall, Andrew Lykins, and Rachel Marcum for the listed charges. Detective Wheeler stated METRICH seized cocaine, drug paraphernalia, marijuana, and an inactive meth lab which was located in an attached garage. He stated numerous charges are pending on Mr. Isaac. Lt. Ken Coontz credited the success of this investigation to the cooperation between the agencies involved. Citizens are encouraged to be proactive by reporting suspected drug activity.
