Franklin P. Ticen
Franklin P. Ticen, 72, of Mt. Gilead, and formerly of Star City, Ind. died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Born Sept. 8, 1940 in Tipton, Ind., he was the son of the late Eugene Dow Ticen and Glendola (Cottongim) Ticen.
Franklin was a bird farmer his entire life, mostly in Star City, Ind. He moved to Morrow County in 2005 to be near his family and enjoyed collecting tractors. He has been a resident of Galion Pointe Nursing Center since 2005.
Surviving are one sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Mike Clady of Tenn.; one brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Mary Ticen of Ind.; two nieces, Tina (Rick) Lowe of Mt. Gilead and Sherry (Jim) McIe of Crestline and two nephews, Richard (Carol) Martin of Indianapolis and Rusty Martin of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by one niece, Mistiee Bostic.
No funeral service or visitation will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion.
