Call for Essay Contest participants
From Citizen to Patriot is proud to announce their first annual Constitution Week Essay Contest. This year’s contest is part of the 225th Anniversary Celebration of the U.S. Constitution and will be offered to all students grades 6–12 in Crawford County. There are two divisions for awards: Grades 6–8 and Grades 9–12. Prizes in each division will be First Place $100 and Second Place $50.
The essay theme is “What the U.S. Constitution Means to Me.” Essays should be no longer than 750 words, typed, and include a cover page with the student’s name, street address, phone number, e– mail address (optional), grade level, and school. Home schoolers are also welcome to enter. Entries are due by midnight Wednesday, October 3rd, and winners will be notified by October 17th. Entries should be mailed to: From Citizen to Patriot, P.O.
