Call for Essay Contest participants

From Cit­i­zen to Patriot is proud to announce their first annual Con­sti­tu­tion Week Essay Con­test. This year’s con­test is part of the 225th Anniver­sary Cel­e­bra­tion of the U.S. Con­sti­tu­tion and will be offered to all stu­dents grades 6–12 in Craw­ford County. There are two divi­sions for awards: Grades 6–8 and Grades 9–12. Prizes in each divi­sion will be First Place $100 and Sec­ond Place $50.

The essay theme is “What the U.S. Con­sti­tu­tion Means to Me.” Essays should be no longer than 750 words, typed, and include a cover page with the student’s name, street address, phone num­ber, e– mail address (optional), grade level, and school. Home school­ers are also wel­come to enter. Entries are due by mid­night Wednes­day, Octo­ber 3rd, and win­ners will be noti­fied by Octo­ber 17th.
