I noticed that my Mantids in my yard are already full grown and pregnant, which means they are 2 months early. That doesn't mean they didn't hatch early due to the warmer spring. However, I had 7 egg sacs with yellow ribbon to see when they would hatch and they hatched a month late usually around mother's day to the first week of June they hatch, they hatched mid June. I also noticed that the harvest flies "cicadas" were also a month early coming out of their exoskeletons. Early July versus late August and the fire flies early June versus early July. My tomatoes are also almost done producing fruit about a month early as well. I noticed all the dogs I'm grooming have an extra layer of thick undercoating that will not come loose, which indicates a really harsh winter coming ahead.
