North End Garden Club members Shirley Fearn, foreground, and Karyn Christman are seen here perfecting the display of Christman’s first-ever entry in a flower show. Christman’s creative design wreath won a first prize. The Ohio Association of Garden Clubs judge noted the beautiful background, added to the display as the two worked to make the best possible presentation. Today a new flower show will be put on display in the flower building at the Crawford County Fairgrounds. Following judging it will open to the public around 3 p.m. Entries in the second flower show are open to all gardeners. (Inquirer photo/Patty Rice Groth)
