New Business Comes to Galion

On July 12, Galion welcomed a new business to town. At 10 a.m. First American Cash Advance had their ribbon cutting ceremony. Local community officials including City Manager Gene Troy, Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Joe Kleinknecht, and Commerce Ambassador Jodi Webb from Acme Electronics Recycling were in attendance for the opening.
First American Cash Advance is located at 222 Portland Way North in Galion. It is in the same shopping plaza as Geyer’s. One of the services they provide include loans up to $1,075. If applying for a loan they ask that you bring in two forms of ID, your checkbook, your latest checking account statement, you’re most recent proof of income, and verification of your social security number.
Another service they provide is tax services such as refund estimation, tax return preparation, and filing services. They also provide Western Union money transfers, money orders, and bill pay. Bill pay includes paying auto, home, and other bills there. Another service they provide is cash for gold. With this service you can bring in unwanted gold and swap it for cash.
