    And for all the curi­ous, a descrip­tion of the Galion Wet­land from the Craw­ford Park Dis­trict: “A for­mer peat bog, the Galion Wet­land is 6.7 acres and is located north of Heise Park.” Skunk cab­bage, known for pro­duc­ing tem­per­a­tures warmer than the air around it, grows there. The park dis­trict rec­om­mends wear­ing water­proof boots if you visit.
