Galion Alliance to hold missions concert

Galion Alliance Church at 430 Port­land Way North will hold a Con­cert for Mis­sionss fundraiser this Sat­ur­day, March 17, at 7 p.m. in the church build­ing. A dozen stu­dent and adult musi­cians from the Galion area will per­form var­i­ous musi­cal pieces to raise aware­ness of and sup­port for a four-person team of Galion­ites going to Croa­tia at the end of April.

A freewill offer­ing will be taken and light refresh­ments will fol­low the con­cert. All dona­tions will go toward travel and other expenses related to the short-term mis­sions trip to Croa­tia. Mem­bers of two Galion fam­i­lies, one par­ent and one teenager from each, will be in Croa­tia for about a week pro­vid­ing sup­port to long-term mis­sion­ar­ies and their fam­i­lies at a regional conference.
