The Galion Inquirer

fire truck web

This 1989 fire engine (pumper) is one of two fire trucks Galion owns. It’s left in the secondary garage next to the fire station because it’s old, according to fire Chief Phil Jackson. Half the emergency lights don’t work and the air brakes take at least two minutes to pressurize after starting the engine. The truck can’t move until that brake pressure rises enough to release the brakes.
