Galion grads bid goodbye to high school

Graduates fill the front seating area in the Galion High School gymnasium on Friday evening, May 27. After remarks from the Galion high school principal, the superintendents of the Galion school system and of Pioneer Career and Technology Center, the Galion school board president, two senior speakers and the keynote speaker, the graduates received their diplomas and were presented to the public. The 117 graduates comprised one of the smallest graduating classes Galion has seen, but despite their small number they earned the largest dollar amount of scholarships in memory.
